Classification of foreign trade shoes

Time:2024-09-29

The first type of foreign trade shoes refers to: China is the world's shoe factory, and abundant and cheap labor is the main factor attracting foreign brand merchants. Foreign brands such as Nike and Adidas are seeking powerful manufacturers in China to authorize OEMs and become their production bases. These types of factories generally produce shoes with very good quality. Due to the production of orders, an additional portion is usually produced, known as the final order. Therefore, the final order of these shoes, as well as those shoes with slight defects that fail inspection, are circulated to the domestic market through a network of relationships and are called foreign trade shoes, and can be considered as cost-effective. For example, the large number of Adidas and Nike foreign trade shoes circulating domestically.

The second type of foreign trade shoes refers to high-quality imitation shoes produced by factories in China that are not authorized by Nike or Adidas. In fact, the materials, design, processes, and quality control are also the same as genuine shoes from Nike or Adidas, known as A-grade shoes in the industry. A-grade shoes have the highest cost-effectiveness among all imitation shoes. Except for the final polishing process, which is not as detailed as genuine shoes, their quality, appearance, and feel are almost the same as genuine shoes. Therefore, the 300 yuan and 500 yuan foreign brand sports shoes seen in specialty stores are the same as the 200 yuan and 300 yuan foreign trade A-grade shoes produced by other shoe factories in China. Some of these shoes are circulated domestically and some are exported, mainly targeting markets in Asia, Africa, South America, and other countries. This is the second layer of meaning of foreign trade shoes.

The third type of foreign trade shoes refers to those shoe traders who do not have authorization from Nike or Adidas. They come to China and find Chinese shoe factories to manufacture or OEM Nike or Adidas shoes, which are then shipped to foreign markets. Foreign traders also have higher quality requirements and control. Although this type of foreign trade shoes cannot compare to genuine products from specialty stores, they are still acceptable. The biggest difference is that genuine shoes have authorization, while this type of foreign trade shoes is not authorized. This is the third type of foreign trade shoes.
